Cleanwork Solutions, Inc. is a socially focused cleaning company that strives to pay livable wages to individuals facing barriers to employment across New York City. With the support of technical assistance, management training and access to financing Cleanwork Solutions received from BOC, the company was able to secure multiple long-term (3+ year) private and public contracts to clean office space, perform construction clean-up, and provide cleaning supplies. Between March 2019 and July 2019, Cleanwork Solutions has expanded from 4 to 23 employees and undertook projects that created an additional 27 long term jobs with wages ranging from $15 to $39 per hour. Employees receive critical on the job training allowing them the potential to move into supervisory roles within the company.

Cleanwork Solutions Inc.’s hiring practices focus on socially-driven workforce development and career training programs located in low-income neighborhoods across the five boroughs. The company regularly hires formerly incarcerated individuals through partnerships with community based organizations such as ‘Exodus Transitional Community’ in Harlem, an organization committed to combating recidivism rates. 

Cleanwork Solutions was founded by Diane Moore, a lifelong Bronx resident with a background as an IBM Technology Consultant and a Home Health Aid. She continues to create positive change through her business, which helps people transform their lives. Her passion, background and knowledge of her industry combined with our resources have created sustainable growth that touches the lives of her community members. Her focus has always been and will be creating not only jobs, but pathways to a better life.
